Inspire2Change collects data from all of its clients to ensure we can provide a personalised service to you. Inspire2Change is a data controller – we collect, store and process the data from our clients.

When you browse our website, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Use of Cookies

We aim to make this site compliant with current UK legislation and practice on the use of cookies. We utilise cookies to improve our site for all visitors and make it easily accessible.

We use Google Analytics and other tracking cookies for these purposes and are as unobtrusive into your privacy as possible. If you opt out of allowing all cookies, then sections of our website may not function fully for you.

Data we collect

Inspire2Change collects personal data including your name, address, email address, phone number and any health conditions you may have to help us to tailor treatments specifically to you.

We also collect other information, depending on the treatment you attend our clinic for. We will ask you confidential questions about your experiences and health status (including medical conditions) to ensure we can address any problems you may have and to ensure we can offer you a service that fits your requirements.

Consent

When you fill in a consultation form in person, subscribe to our newsletter or contact us via the website, you will be asked to opt in to other email communications. If you do not wish to be contacted via email for marketing purposes, your data will not be added to our database and we will not contact you with any marketing-related material.

How your data is used

Inspire2Change uses your data to tailor your treatments to you. It is vital for our insurance purposes and so we can carry out the treatments requested that the data you provide is accurate.

Client email addresses are used for marketing if agreed so, to send offers and updates about Inspire2Change and any other information you may find useful for your healing or fitness journey.

Sharing data with third parties

Your data will remain completely confidential, unless we are required by law to share that data with third parties.

For example, we may need to share data with relevant parties such as the police if we feel you or others are at risk, medical services if you fall ill or become injured and anyone else we feel may need to be aware of any conditions you discuss or experience in our sessions.

How our data is stored

We store any paper forms you fill in when you have a consultation with us in a locked cabinet on our premises, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

This data is also stored digitally in Mailchimp, secured with two factor authentication (2FA). We recommend you also read the privacy policy of Mailchimp if you are concerned about how it uses your data.

How long your data is stored for

Any medical personal data you provide to Inspire2Change is stored for seven years in accordance with our insurance policy. A copy of this is available upon request.

Change or removal of data

If you require your personal data to be changed or removed from our database, we have an obligation by law to remove or change the specified information within 30 days of your request.
